Note that this site can be viewed without the need to disclose personal information to us.

We collect personal information that you choose to give us while using the website and its services, in particular, your email address when you sign up for the newsletter or enter your details in the “Contact us” form. We will only use your email address to send you a copy of the newsletter or contact you using the details you have entered in the “Contact Us” form.
Any personal information that you provide us will be viewable by site administrators, certain InternetNZ staff and its contractors.

Automatic collection of information
InternetNZ does not collect personal information about you if you only browse this website. We do not use cookies to store personal information. You can access and use the website with cookies disabled in your browser settings.
Statistical information
InternetNZ and its contractors, providers and agencies, use analytical tools, like Google Analytics, HotJar and Facebook Pixel to create summary statistics that allow InternetNZ to assess information such as the number of visitors to different sections of the website, identify what information is of most and least interest, monitor system performance, and help us make our website more useful to visitors. To do this these analytical tools collect and store the data when you visit the website, including:
- Your service address (IP address)
- The date, time and duration of your visit to the site
- The pages you accessed and the documents you downloaded
- The type of browser you used
- The search terms you used (e.g. when searching for a domain name)
- Device and technology data (e.g. operating system, device type, screen resolution)
- Traffic source and acquisition (e.g. how users arrived at the site, which website or link referred the user to the site)
